Bedfordshire Police are keen to trace a car in conncection with a burglary in Luton.
The theft happened on January 26 as a woman returned home in Evergreen Way and found her 40” flat-screen TV stolen, along with other cash and jewels.
After going outside to speak to a neighbour, she saw a dark-coloured car moving slowly down the street. She noticed the back seat was piled with goods covered by a sheet.
The driver – who was wearing a hooded top with the hood up – made off at speed, but the victim was able to take down a partial registration X317.
Detiective Constable Gill Cowley said: “We are keen to trace this vehicle and would urge the driver to come forward. We would also appeal to anyone who saw the vehicle in the area or who knows of a car with this registration to call the police.
“One of the rings stolen was a Michael Kors layered ring which is quite distinctive and we hope someone might recognise this if it’s been offered to them.”
Anyone with information can contact DC Cowley in confidence, at Bedfordshire Police, by calling 101 or text information to 07786 200011.
