Staff from Cambridgeshire Community Service NHS Trust raised nearly £200 by supporting Wear It Pink day on Friday, October 24. Pauline Glass, a senior drug worker for the Luton Drug Service wore a pink onesie and encouraged the rest of her staff to wear pink for to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign.
Ms Glass said: “I had a particular interest in the day as I recently had my first breast cancer screen, thankfully I was given the all clear.
“I encouraged staff to wear pink too for a small donation, and some of our clients even gave generous donations as I paraded around in my pink onesie.
Rehan Tariq, Team Leader, said: “The event also did well in terms of staff moral; during these times of change, staff sickness and shortage.
“It was a fun day for all.”
