TODDINGTON mum Maggie Thomas, 46, currently undergoing life-extending cancer treatment in a German clinic, remains positive even though her condition is gradually deteriorating.
Her distraught husband David is trying to keep their six children on an even keel until she returns early next month.
“We have a video chat twice a day,” he said. “They talk to her every morning and every evening.
“She’s still fighting and trying to be as positive as she can even though she’d finding everything harder and harder.
“She’s having difficulty walking but her spirit is strong.”
David, a commercial photographer, is attempting to work in between looking after Liam, David, Cian, Fintan and twins Daniel and Anne – the children Maggie misses desperately and calls her six reasons for living.
