Criminals in Luton had an early wake up call from the police in a series of dawn raids this morning (April 15).
Search warrants were executed at 40 addresses and 19 people were arrested as part of Operation Sabre.
The Luton News were at a house in Montrose Avenue, where two people were taken into custody.
Police and Crime Commissioner Olly Martins who accompanied police said: “I’ve been very impressed by the police operation and with the efficiency with which they’ve executed the warrant, carried out the search and arrested the suspects. It’s this sort of operation that I hope reassures the public we are serious about dealing with burglars and tackling serious and acquisitive crime in the county.”
