A man was arrested after shots were fired at a property in Burnham Road today (April 16).
Armed officers went to the house in Stopsley where a number of shots were heard at 11am.
There are no reports of anyone being injured and one man was arrested nearby in Hardswick Close.
A car thought to be involved has also been recovered.
At a press conference this afternoon about the murder of Paul Foster who died last Tuesday, Detective Superintendent Jeff Hill said police could not say if the incidents were related.
A significant police presence is in the Burnham Road area to reassure residents and carry out a thorough forensic investigation.
Detectives are carrying out door to door enquiries to establish what happened.
