A student had a mobile phone snatched from her hand by a man on a bike on Bank Holiday Monday (April 1).
The incident happened between 5pm - 5.30pm when the 27-year-old student was walking along Surrey Street in Luton.
A man on a dull silver bike snatched the victim’s white LG mobile phone from her hand and cycled away.
The thief is described as black, between 25-30 years old with a slim build and short hair.
PC Jenny Buckley said: “This incident happened during daylight hours and I am sure other members of the public would have been in the area and may have seen a man matching this description. I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious on Bank Holiday Monday to come forward and help this investigation.”

Keep mobile phones, money and other items of value out of sight so as not to attract a potential robber’s attention
