Residents will be receiving their annual council tax bill from Luton Borough Council this week.
This year, a band B council taxpayer (the most common band with 34 per cent of households), will be charged £1124.79.
Of this, £938.70 goes to the council, £119.38 to policing and £66.71 to Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Services. A full breakdown of how it is spent can be found at www.luton.gov.uk/counciltax.
