THREE men were stabbed in a fight in Cheapside in Luton on Sunday November 27.
A group of eastern European men in their 30s were in a nearby cafe at lunchtime when a fight broke out, which resulted in three of them being stabbed.
The road was closed to pedestrians and motorists for several hours while a full forensic examination was carried out.
One of the men was taken to the Royal Free, where his condition is described as serious but stable.
A second was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital, his condition is stable and he is expected to be released later today.
The third was described as ‘walking wounded’.
Four men, including two of the victims, have been arrested and are likely to be released on bail pending further enquiries.
