THE Love Luton Festival comes to a thrilling climax today with the town’s annual international carnival and the long-awaited arrival of the Olympic torch.
The carnival parade starts at 12.30pm outside Wardown Park and is due to get to St George’s Square at 1pm.
That is followed by a two hour free ticket-only Olympic torch event at 4pm which will culminate in the lighting of a celebration cauldron on stage.
As well as all that, a variety of free events will also take place in Wardown Park, Market Hill, Moor Park, St George’s Square, Upper George Street and Gordon Street.
