LUTON Irish Forum is mourning the death of one of its most valued volunteers, 76-year-old Nancy Galvin.
Chief officer Noelette Hanley said: “Nancy grew up in Kilkenny and moved to Luton when she was 12.
“She and her husband Sean opened their family business J J Galvin and Co in 1961.
“They had three children and 10 grandchildren.
“Nancy helped with the Gaelic Choir, St Patrick’s festival and our various clubs as well as being involved with local churches.
“She will be deeply missed by all our members.”
