THE trial of Anders Behring Breivik heard the mass murderer say today that Luton has “more than 1,000 Islamic no-go zones... where police do not dare pass through”.
He called conditions in the town close to “war-like”, according to news agency Agence France Presse.
Helen Pidd, covering the trial in Norway for the Guardian, reported Breivik said much of his “learning” came from Wikipedia, quoting him as saying: “The English articles there contain a lot of information.”
The English Defence League denied it had links to Breivik after reports he had met its leaders in March 2010.
Last week Mr Lennon told The Independent that Breivik was a “monster” but that his anti-Islamic blogs were “the truth”.
