NEARLY 200 local community and voluntary groups will meet on April 26 to discuss funding for the voluntary sector as cuts to local authorities start to bite.
The groups will hear from speakers and discuss a recent national report that said more needed to be done to ensure scarce resources are targeted on people who need the most help.
The meeting is being hosted by Luton Borough Council at Venue Central in Chapel Street, from 1pm to 5pm.
