Year 10 pupils from Putteridge High School attended an activity day at North Hertfordshire College (NHC) to take part in workshops based around some of the college’s creative departments.
The pupils had a go at costume design, media make-up and hair, body adornment and media installation on the Creative Choices activity day, with all of their work being used for a final fashion show to exhibit their creations.
The theme of the day was ‘kaleidoscope’, allowing the pupils to really use their imagination and not hold back on their designs.
The sessions were devised to help the students see the work of the college.
NHC is one of the nearest further education establishment for many pupils at Putteridge High School, and it was clear that the creative tutors and facilities at the college had been a hit with many of the Year 10 pupils.
