Students from Tina’s School of Dance will be performing The Wizard of Oz at Barnfield South Academy on Saturday, December 20.

There will be 20 five to 16-year-olds and six parents starring in the show.

Tina Buhagiar, principal of the dance school said: “The dancers are very excited and can’t wait to perform to their family and friends.

“Although our main focus is dance, we like to give different opportunities to the students so we regularly produce and perform musicals and pantomimes.

The students have been developing the characters, song choices, stage direction, prompting, choreography, props and costume design.

She added: “Everyone is really excited, we are having lots of fun and the team have been rehearsing really hard.

“The audience can expect a family fun afternoon, with lots of laughs and entertainment.

“Plus all the traditional Panto favourites such as a Dame, custard pies and plenty of songs.”

The show will be at 3pm, tickets are £8 and can be purchased from the dance school, visit: www.tinasschoolofdance.co.uk
