Police are looking for witnesses to an attempted robbery outside Kink nightclub in Luton on Sunday, October 12.
The victim, a white man in his twenties, was hit twice by the offender, who is described as a white male, possibly Eastern European, in his mid twenties.
PC Ben Stone, investigating officer, said: “At around 3.30am the victim left Luton Town Centre and was walking up Dunstable Place past the Kink nightclub when a man walking behind him asked him where he was going.
“The offender then got in front of him and turned to face him demanding money from him. He then struck the victim twice on the left side of the jaw, knocking his glasses from his head and making him stumble backwards. The victim stood his ground and refused to hand anything over, so the offender then made off down Dunstable Place towards the Town Centre.”
The offender was 5ft6”, of small build with short dark hair and wearing dark clothing.
