easyJet, London Luton’s largest airline, is set to run its Fearless Flyer course in the town next month in a bid to help those with a phobia of flying to overcome their fear.
The course is split over two days and will include a ground session on Saturday 18 October, where phobia expert Lawrence Leyton and a senior easyJet pilot will dispel common flying myths and teach participants a unique set of mind tools to overcome their fear.
The following day on Sunday 19 October, participants will put the skills that they’ve learnt to the test and will take to the skies on a dedicated easyJet flight from Luton Airport, complete with a running commentary from a pilot in the cabin and with the support of Lawrence onboard.
The course is one of the best priced aerophobia courses in the country, at just £189 per person, with spaces still available.
Neil Slaven, UK Commercial Manager, commented: “We’re delighted to be running another of our Fearless Flyer courses in Luton this month. There are still spaces available, and with a success rate of more than 95% we would encourage those wishing to overcome their fear to take part.
“The course is suitable for all levels of nervousness – from those who experience general anxiety to those who are first-time flyers.”
Lawrence Leyton, phobia expert, said: “I’m excited to help those coming on our Belfast course to overcome their fear. On the course I’ll teach participants a set of skills that they can use to train their mind to think differently about flying. We achieve fantastic results and it can be life-changing for many.”
