Police are looking for a man after a potential rape incident, a 33-year-old woman was assaulted in an alley between Dunsmore Road and Milton Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The attacker grabbed her and made sexually suggestive comments, she broke free and ran away, he chased her and before giving up. He is described as white, 5ft9”, medium build with a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
Martin Hart, investigating the incident, said: “The woman was walking from Luton Town Centre towards Farley Hill and had entered a short alley running from Milton Road towards Dunsmore Road when a man followed her into the alley and grabbed her from behind while making sexually suggestive comments.
“The woman has managed to break free from him and run away but was pursued by her attacker who then gave up and walked off. He was last seen on Dunsmore Road about 2.15pm.
“The victim was left very distressed by this attack and we are treating this as a potential rape and are very keen to locate this man before he has time to offend again. If anyone was in the area of Dunsmore Road around two to three o’clock on Wednesday and saw this man we would like to hear from you.”
