POLICE have charged a 23-year-old man in connection with an incident which saw a father and son stabbed at a house in Luton last month.
Abdullah Abshir Ali, from London, has been charged with GBH wounding with intent, GBH wounding, aggravated burglary and false imprisonment following the incident in Dumfries Street on January 31.
Mr Ali has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Luton Magistrates Court this morning.
A 33-year-old man was left fighting for his life after being stabbed multiple times during the incident. His father escaped with minor injuries.
A spokesman for Beds Police said last night: “Officers from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime unit are still continuing to investigate this incident and although a person has been charged they are still keen to talk to anyone with information that may help progress this investigation.”
