A man suffered a fractured spine and suspected broken nose in a robbery in Leagrave Road on Monday (April 22).
The 41-year-old was approached by three men at around 8.40pm who demanded he hand over his keys to the black Range Rover he was driving.
When he refused, they assaulted him, took his wallet and left the scene.
Det Con David Elias said: “The victim has suffered a suspected broken nose and fractured spine during this assault and is in a lot of pain. Leagrave Road is a busy main road and we are sure other motorists and pedestrians may have seen the incident or the three men in the area prior to the crime. I urge these people to have the confidence to contact the police and tell officeres what they saw.”
Two of the offenders are described as white men, one of whom was possibly Eastern European. The third is described as a man of Asian appearance.
