POLICE are still appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Luton in the early hours of Christmas day.
The incident happened shortly after 4am when the victim became involved in an altercation in South Road.
The victim was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital for treatment to several stab wounds to his back and facial injuries.
PC Victoria Fensom said: “The victim has now been released from hospital and is recovering but the violence used during this incident was shocking and could have resulted in life threatening injuries.”
