Dancers dazzled audiences at residential homes in Luton over Christmas, with festive performances to raise spirits and charity funds.
Dare 2B Different, a team of eight dancers from La Phyzz Dance Studios and singers from La Phyzz Theatre Academy, performed at Castle Troy Residential Home in Bushmead and Mulberry Court in Bramingham on Sunday (December 23).
They performed a show of Christmas carols and dances, and classically trained singer Shannon Farrell, 17, performed two solos numbers.
The dance troupe are trained by Julia Farestvedt, director of La Phyzz Theatre Academy, and the group volunteer at events such as Race For Life.
Dare 2B Different was recently voted second in Luton Borough Council’s Your Say Your Way (Hightown) and has now been granted funding which will buy them a uniform and some new performance costumes.
There is room for more young people to join this team so if you are aged between 8-16 years and would like to do so please call 07973 671275 for more information.
