IT’S different from the nightclubs of London and Ibiza that he’s used to playing, but a professional DJ has saved the day by volunteering to play at the Woodside Animal Farm New Year’s Day Party.

Mark Woods, 41, from Stopsley, saw the appeal in the Herald & Post for a DJ and decided to put his skills to good use at the party for Keech Hospice Care.

The father-of-three had his own Saturday morning radio show on Select UK Radio, and has DJ-ed in famous clubs such as Ministry of Sound.

Mark said: “I’ve got kids myself so thought it would be nice to do something for the kids and support Keech.”

Mark, who can be contacted on 07957 124844, will supply equipment and share the decks with another volunteer, Roger Williams. The party is from 10am to 5pm. Free entry, but all donations go to Keech.
