A man in his 90s was involved in a collision with a car in Luton today (December 7) and had to be released from underneath it.
The Magpas Helimedix team, ambulance crew and fire service attended the scene at 12.39pm and removed the patient from underneath the car.
He had suffered a lower leg injury so the paramedics put his leg in a splint and took him to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital where he arrived in a stable condition.
