A TEENAGE girl and boy have been arrested following the death of a man at a New Year’s Eve party in Luton in the early hours of this morning.
The 42-year-old man died shortly after being assaulted at the party at a house in Helmsley Close, on the Hockwell Ring estate.
The pair have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the murder of the man, a Beds Police spokesman said.
Their ages have not been released but police say the incident happened at the home of the man’s partner, and that the party had been attended by a number of youngsters.
The teenagers are currently being held at Luton Police Station, and detectives carried out house to house enquiries in Helmsley Close today.
A post mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow to establish how the victim died, and the spokesman said his name would not be released until this was completed.
