Drivers were warned about the danger of not stopping for school crossing patrols at the relaunch of the Stop Means Stop campaign.
Luton Borough Council’s road safety team had an information stand in St George’s Square to raise awareness about the campaign. They also gave out leaflets, car stickers and fridge magnets to make motorists aware that if they don’t stop for a school crossing patrol they can be fined up to £1,000 and given penalty points.
