A bottle attack in the White House pub left a man with a serious head injury on Monday (October 29).
The 28-year-old victim was sat at a table with friends at 6pm in the Bridge Street pub, when he was approached from behind and struck on the back of his head with a bottle.
The offender hit the victim several times before leaving the scene, and the victim required about 20 stitches.
Det Con Colin Knight said: “This appears to be an unprovoked attack on the victim who will now be scarred for life. I would urge anyone who can help piece together what happened on Monday night and anyone who can help identify the man within these CCTV pictures to come forward and help with this inquiry.”
The offender is described as a black/mixed-race man, 6ft tall and approximately 28 years of age. He had a slim build and wore a blue top and had a distinctive man-bag over his shoulder.
If you recognise the man or have any information contact Det Con Knight in confidence on 01582 473142, or Beds Police on 101, or text 07786 200011.
