Construction company employees put down their tools to help with Keech Hospice Care’s annual maintenance.
Wates Retail/Construction have been volunteering at Keech, who care for both adults and children across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, for the last four years.
They spent the day staining benches, removing old tree stumps, gardening and carrying out repairs.
They also helped to raise money for the hospice by washing cars.
Mike Keel, chief executive at Keech, said: “Their help is essential for Keech in this economic climate. We need everything that can stop us having to spend money on anything other than care.
“We hope this will encourage more people to come and help us.”
