THREE off-duty police officers were among those injured in a road smash which closed part of the A6 between Luton and Streatley in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A police investigation is under way into the collision involving three Vauxhall Astras at around 4.40am. One person has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Supt Linda Kelly of Beds Police said: “This incident resulted in several people receiving injuries, some of them serious. Although a lot of people stopped to offer assistance, we are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
