A YOUNG mum and her newborn baby have been missing since Tuesday (May 1) and police are appealing for help to find them.
Jasmine Woodbridge, 16, from Downs Road in Luton, gave birth to baby boy Jayden on Monday at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
She left the L&D the following day without telling anyone she was leaving.
DI Will Hawkes said: “We are concerned that Jasmine left the hospital without informing staff and it is important that anyone who has information relating to their whereabouts speaks to the police as soon as possible.
“Jasmine has gone missing on several occasions before and anyone who may be harbouring Jasmine and her baby should understand that they are committing an offence.”
Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of Jasmine and Jayden should contact Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
