A WOMAN was found dead outside the Luton Hoo Hotel in Luton on Sunday.
The lady was found outside the main entrance to the hotel estate on the verge of the A1081 London Road shortly after 3pm.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “We were alerted to the Luton Hoo estate at 3.08pm. Sadly on our arrival a woman was pronounced dead by paramedics. Our thoughts are with her family at this tragic time.”
A source who does not wish to be named said she believed the lady was walking home after a night out with friends in Harpenden on Saturday night and was found by friends who went looking for her the next day when she failed to arrive back.”
Luton Hoo general manager Matthew Long said: “Police and ambulance were in attendance for around three hours during which time the Beech Tree Drive entrance to the hotel remained open. Our sympathies go to the lady´s family.”
