POLICE have been given extra time to question five men arrested on Tuesday following a series of terror raids in Luton.
The men, aged 30, 24, 21, 35, and 23, were detained by officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command team following dawn raids at Maidenhall Road, Bishopscote Road, Crawley Road, Cornel Close, and Shaftesbury Road.
Police confirmed that a warrant of further detention was issued yesterday, to expire seven days after their arrest.
