A DOG WALKER was robbed in Lewsey Park Farm in Luton on Friday (February 24).

The 38-year-old was kicked in the back at about 8.45pm, which caused him to fall to the ground.

Two offenders then struggled with him and made demands for money before placing a nice close to his face, and the victim then stopped struggling while they searched his pockets and took his iPhone.

Det Con Surfraz Hussain said: “This robbery happened during the evening and we believe there were a number of people in cars parked at Lewsey Park Swimming Pool including a red Ford Mondeo. It is possible that these people did not realise what was happening but they may be able to help identify the two men responsible. I urge these people to come forward and help with this investigation.”

The first offender is described as a black man, over 6’ tall, with strong facial features including big eyes and high cheek bones. He was in his mid 20s and wore a black jacket and possibly black leather trousers.

The second offender is described as a black man, approximately 5’5” tall with a stocky build. He was dressed in black clothing with a high neck jacket and was wearing gloves.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Hussain, in confidence, 01582 473330, Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
