Strictly Come Dancing (BBC One, 7pm)
This is the final, and the atmosphere is bound to be electric. And for viewers at home with access to a state-of-the-art TV, there’s an added bonus – it’s being broadcast in 3D.
It’s the public vote that decides who wins - and the contestants will be pulling out all the stops in their no-holds-barred show-dance to win the viewers over.
And if after the results show, you’re still hungry for more Strictly, don’t worry, as on Christmas Day, there’ll be a special festive edition.
Sunday
Michael Bublé - Home for Christmas (ITV1, 9pm)
Michael Bublé never fails to put on a show-stopping performance - and that’s obviously the same train of thought those leading lights at ITV have had.
Because they’ve invited him back for another star-studded, music-filled evening.
This festive special will see the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter celebrating the festive period with some celeb guests and a couple of unmissable duets thrown in for good measure.
Guests include Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and comedienne Dawn French.
Monday
Young James Herriot (BBC One, 9pm)
Iain de Caestecker plays the familiar favourite vet in his days at university in Glasgow during the 1930s.
The three-part drama follows an idealistic James as he seeks to qualify, but this first episode sees him throwninto the middle of a potentially deadly cattle epidemic, and has to make a difficult decision that could mean life or death for both the cows and the farmer’s business.
Tuesday
The Butlin’s Story (ITV1, 8pm)
It’s been a whopping 75 years since Billy Butlin opened his first holiday camp. That first one was in Skegness, and since then Butlin’s has become a household name - and something of a holiday institution.
The Butlin’s Story takes a look at the holiday sites through the decades and hears from those who have attended the camps as holidaymakers and those who have worked as the now-famous Redcoats, and owe their careers to Butlin’s having started out at one of its resorts.
Wednesday
A Night of Heroes: The Military Awards (ITV1, 8.30pm)
Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden present the annual gala event from London’s Imperial War Museum.
They are joined by stars from the worlds of entertainment and sport, including Frank Lampard, Holly Willoughby and Simon Pegg, along with senior members of the royal family.
Thursday
Sports Personality Of The Year 2011 (BBC One, 8pm)
A chance to look back and remember sporting achievements made in the past 12 months, and find out who has scooped the coveted awards.
Friday
The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV1, 9pm)
The eponymous host welcomes bare-footed Antipodean pianist Tim Minchin onto the show,.along with Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas, better known as stars of hit sitcom The Inbetweeners.
