A Luton mum who’d never heard of scoliosis until her daughter Shannon was diagnosed with it is putting on an event to raise funds and awareness of the condition that hits one girl in five when she reaches puberty.
Lea Manor kitchen assistant Michelle George, 51, is organising an afternoon at Lea Manor Recreation Centre in Marsh Farm from 12 noon until 3pm on Saturday, April 25.
In addition to information about scoliosis, there will be refreshments on sale, a cake stall and a raffle.
