A woman and a man have been charged after a robbery in Sainsbury’s supermarket.
The incident happened at the Dunstable Road branch of the supermarket on Monday 16 March.
The woman is alleged to have concealed a bottle of Jack Daniels beneath her clothing. When challenged by a security officer, she is alleged to have produced a syringe and threatened him.
Ayesha Glasford, 30, of Dunstable Road, Luton has been charged with robbery. Sam Russell, 36, of Villa Road, Luton, has been charged with theft from shop and receiving stolen goods.
Both appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on 27 March.
