Police have made three more arrests in connection with a series of violent robberies across Luton and Dunstable over the last fortnight.
Over the weekend two knife point robberies occurred at shops on Common Road, Kensworth, and Albert Road, Luton– bringing the total to eight in ten days.
On Sunday a 25-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both from St Albans, were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
They have been released on bail with stringent conditions.
Now three other men have been arrested and are currently at Luton Police Station for questioning.
A 27-year-old man from Luton and a 32-year-old man from Dunstable have both been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Another 27-year-old man from Luton has been arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation.
