Bedfordshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Wilsden Avenue, Luton, on Monday (16 February) at around 9.15pm.
A man in his early 20s was stabbed in the back following an altercation between two groups of young Asian men that led to a collision between two vehicles - a silver S Class Mercedes and a small dark car.
The groups then ran off in different directions, some down Wilsden Avenue where the man was stabbed. He was taken to hospital but discharged the following day.
Detective Constable Colin Knight said: “Four people have been arrested in connection with this serious assault but our investigation is in the early stages and we believe a number of people may have been involved.
“Knife crime is down nine per cent in the area, however we would urge witnesses to come forward in confidence to assist us continue to protect the community.”
