Pupils from Bramingham Primary School Craft Club were presented with vouchers from the Mayor of Luton, for their winning entries in a craft competition.
They made decorations from recyclable materials to dress a Christmas tree, the winning tree received a prize of a £100 W H Smith voucher for their school.
The Mayor of Luton, Councillor Mohammed Farooq, said: “The judging panel was very impressed by the children’s creativity.
“Their money-saving ideas and talent in recycling household materials to create these environmentally-friendly decorations was amazing.”
A prize was also awarded for the best individual decoration from the winning tree.
