A 13-year-old boy was mugged for his BlackBerry phone and £4 in change by a man in Luton on Monday (December 12).
The victim was walking alone in Wauluds Bank Drive between 4.55pm - 5.10pm when he was approached by a man on a blue mountain bike.
The man demanded the boy’s BlackBerry curve 3900 black phone which was in a silver case, before rummaging through his school bag and taking £4 in loose change.
The offender then left the scene on his bike towards Five Springs.
He was described as black, between 21-24 years old, medium build with a long black curly beard. He was wearing blue jeans, white Addidas trainers, a blue cardigan hooded top and a blue baseball cap. The peak of the cap was black with the number 59 in gold on the peak.
