Three suspected drug dens have been closed by police after a series of raids across Luton.
At 4am on Tuesday morning search warrants were simultaneously carried out by armed officers at four addresses across the town.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs at an address in Stanley Street, a property at which cash was also seized from.
All three have since been bailed until February 26.
Three other properties were also searched in Adelaide Street, Stockwood Crescent and Ashburnham Road, however no arrests were made and no drugs were found.
Each location was issued with a closure notice under s76 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014.
The orders mean the locations will be closed for until April 27 to disrupt any drug-related activity.
Sergeant Melissa Cunningham, who led the operation, said: “These warrants were carried out after intelligence about suspected drug dealing at the addresses was received by the Luton Policing Community Team.
“We will always act on information regarding the use and supply of drugs and work hard to protect our communities from such criminal activity.”
