Maidenhall Primary School held a multi faith day on Tuesday, December 16, to celebrate the different cultures and faiths in Luton.
Parents attended the event wearing their traditional dress and shared their holy books.
Each year group took part in activities to inspire them to learn about a variety of faiths, and the similarities that exist between religions.
Fionna Byrne, Assistant Headteacher, Maidenhall Primary School, said: “It was such a privilege to learn so much about all the world faiths, from the mouths of our wonderful children.
“They worked hard all day undertaking a range of activities, to produce a fantastic presentation at the end of the day.
“It was also great to see many of our parents contributing to this event by preparing tasty dishes for us all to try and discussing their cultural backgrounds with our pupils.
“I am proud to be part of such a welcoming, tolerant and happy community!”
Pupils released one hundred balloons with tags featuring images created by the children representing happiness and community.
