Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Lynwood Avenue, Luton, on Tuesday, December 2.
Offenders broke into the home through the back kitchen windows between 6.40pm and 9.40pm.
They unwrapped Christmas presents and opened cards before stealing a quantity of jewellery.
The stolen jewellery included diamond rings and wedding bands, a gold faced ‘Garrard of Piccadilly’ gent’s watch with brown leather strap engraved with “1962-1982” on the back, along with the victims name, to commemorate 25 years service to Rolls Royce.
