Hollyoaks actor Aaron Fontaine will be this year’s special guest for the switching on of the Christmas Lights on Saturday, December 6. London Luton Airport will be treating guests to free ice skating in St George’s Square on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The actor wanted to support his home town, he will be joined by the Mayor on the balcony to switch the lights on. If you are aged 16 or under and live in Luton you could join them.
To enter the competition, complete the sentence in no more than fifteen words: ‘I would like to switch on the Christmas lights in Luton because...’ Email your entry to georgina.barker@luton.gov.uk or post to Georgina Barker, Economic Development, Luton Borough Council, Clemitson House, Luton. Include your name, address and number of your parent/guardian, who must accompany you on the day.
Closing date is midnight on Wednesday 26 November.
