Stones In His Pockets, the multi award-winning comedy by Irish writer Marie Jones, is coming to the Grove Theatre on Wednesday, October 22.

Starring Conor Delaney and Stephen Jones, it tells a tale of a quiet Irish community, turned upside down by the arrival of a massive Hollywood movie shoot.

Conor Delaney, who plays Jake, has featured in Game of Thrones, Jack Taylor and The Tudors.

Stephen Jones, who takes on the role of Charlie, is an actor, writer and a director, his work includes the BBC’s Ripper Street.

Director Ian McElhinney, who stars in Game of Thrones, said: “The audience can expect to be entertained and surprised at how this big story is told through the eyes of just two characters. They give you a whole view of other characters, without leaving the stage or changing costume.

“It is very entertaining and something different, it is done in a simple and clever way, it stimulates the audience, it is a serious story told in a funny way.”

The play starts at 7.30pm, for tickets go to www.grovetheatre.co.uk or call the box office on 01582 60 20 80.
