Johnstone’s Paint is giving community projects in Luton the chance to win a re-decorating makeover in a new competition.

It has launched the Community Spirit campaign which will see local projects all over the country compete for a makeover.

All 48 football clubs in the 2014-2015 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will select, submit and provide their backing to one community project in their area.

Ben Wilde, brand and sponsorship manager of Johnstone’s Paint, said: “We have no restrictions on the nominations we are looking for. The only provision must be that the facility or group serves or provides a benefit to the community.

“The Community Spirit campaign will provide the opportunity for one lucky facility or group to enjoy a complete decorating makeover from Johnstone’s Paint and we are looking forward to sifting through what we are sure will be many deserving nominations.”

Nominations for groups or facilities should be made at www.johnstonestrade.com/communityspirit, with Luton Town having the final say on which project represents it in the national competition. Nominations must be made by Friday, November 21.

From those projects, four will be chosen by judges to be finalists and a public vote will decide the winner.
