Police raided a brothel on Dallow Road in Luton on Wednesday.
A22 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of managing a brothel but was later released without charge.
A number of men at the brothel at the time of the raid and were given police advice.
Sgt Pauline Leng, from the Local Policing Team, said: “We had received numerous complaints about the activity taking place at the location and as a result we were able to obtain a warrant from the Magistrates court which allowed us to enter the brothel.
“We returned to the Magistrate’s Court the following day and obtained an order which will keep the premises closed for a further three months.
“Some people may think that as the people involved are consenting adults then there shouldn’t be an issue but residents should not have to suffer anti-social behaviour and have their lives blighted by the patrons or employees of such an establishment.
“We can take positive action against people making life a misery for others and I would urge anyone with information to contact Bedfordshire Police on the 101 number, or text information to 07786 200011. Alternatively you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.”
