More than 2,300 people got a taste of university life on Wednesday, September 24, as the University of Bedfordshire held its first Open Day of the year. Students can visit the next one on Saturday, October 11.
Guests are welcomed by Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell and Deputy Vice Chancellor Mary Malcolm, they then have the opportunity to look around the campus and subject talks will be held for students to watch.
Mr Rammell said: “With the University still accepting places for potential students coming through Clearing, the Open Day was a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is still yet to decide on where to study for the 2014/15 academic year.
“For the many hundreds of young people, who will begin their studies in 2015/16, it was a vital opportunity for them to appreciate what is on offer at Bedfordshire.
“We were delighted with the amount of people in attendance for the Open Day today and we look forward to welcoming many back to the University to begin their studies.”
