Active Luton is offering some free fitness classes to the public on Friday, September 26.
Inspire: Luton’s Sports Village, Lea Manor Recreation Centre and Lewsey Sports Park will all be hosting some classes. Call the leisure centre for times and classes.
It is part of National Fitness Day, trying to raise awareness and promote the benefits of exercise and living a healthy and active lifestyle.
Inspire: Luton Sports Village is offering free spinning classes at 6.30am, 12.15pm and 7.15pm, and free leisure swimming during public sessions.
Lea Manor Recreation Centre is holding a pilates class at 10.45am and a kettlecise session at 6.15pm.
Lewsey Sports Park, is offering a free bootcamp session at 9:30am, spinning class at 6pm and free leisure swimming during their public sessions.
Helen Barnett, chief executive at Active Luton, said: “We didn’t hesitate to get involved in National Fitness Day. Anything that promotes the benefits of exercise and encourages more people to live a healthy life can only be a good thing.
“Everyone is welcome and we want as many people as possible to take advantage of this opportunity, so bring a friend too.”
Councillor Aslam Khan said: “We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all Luton residents and this is a great opportunity for people to get a feel for the fantastic and fun fitness sessions offered by Active Luton.”
