Two men have been arrested today on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with an incident where a man was hit by a car in St Dominic’s Square, Luton.
A 24-year-old man was carried for about 50 yards on the bonnet of the stolen Seat car, after the driver deliberately drove at him at 11pm on June 12.
He landed on the pavement and was lucky to escape serious injury before the vehicle drove off.
The incident, which happened on Radnor Road, is being investigated by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit in connection with another incident on Sunday May 25.
The two men, one 25-year-old and the other a 21-year-old, were arrested this morning by the Major Crime Unit.
