On Friday 18th July, luxury five star hotel, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, played host to Vauxhall’s charity golf day, which raised an incredible £4,500 in aid of Help For Heroes.
At 10am 16 teams of four, including an ex-servicemen team, set off on Luton Hoo Hotel’s 7,107 yards long, championship golf course in the hope of securing victory.
There was a number of amazing prizes up for grabs throughout the day, including a set of golf clubs, a relaxing golf break and, if a player managed to shoot a hole in one, there was even the chance to win a brand new Vauxhall ‘Adam’ car, worth over £10,000!
General Manager at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, Matthew Long, commented:
“The Vauxhall charity golf event was extremely successful, and I am delighted that they were able to raise a vast sum of money for this inspiring charity. Congratulations to everyone involved, it really was a fantastic day.”
